Theres something reminiscent of a cresent moon in his clothes. it really ties into the aggressive canine look ;)

Now this is a really cool piece of work,
I love how you not only did the shading on the character but also in the background. It's hard to acutally make that work when it comes to that. The scarf was a good addition to, especially since it's not like a normal one and it's all ripped up.
